Fyodor Dostoievski was born in Moscow in 1821. He became a Christian since he was very young. When he was young, he'd always dream of becoming a writer for God, and indeed it became true sooner or later. In 1849, Fyodor faced the firing squad. He was sentenced for four years at hard labour and five years of imprisonment. Fyodor really had time before he was jailed trying to preach the gospel. Dostoeivski had a hobby in jail when he got bored. He started writing a book, entitled 'House of the Dead'. Although he came out of jail, he did not stop writing books for the non-Christians. He wrote books for the Lord to touch their hearts. Fyodor passed away in 1881. Dostoievski spent his entire creative energy on a single theme, the individual's need for and relation to God.
