Harriet Beecher Stowe was born on June 14, 1811 in Litchfield, Connecticut. At 5 years old, Harriet was very sad and mourn for the death of her mother, Roxana Beecher. In 1824, Harriet moved to Hartford, Connecticut to attend Hartford Female Seminary. She had been a bookworm for a few years reading Christian books. 12 years later, Harriet married Calvin Stowe in Cincinnati, Ohio in the early January. Twin daughters of Harriet were born on September 29, 1836. In 1951 to 1952, Harriet wrote and published "Uncle Tom's Cabin" which was an interesting story. Harriet's family moved to Andover, Massachusetts. Many lives were touched by the book, "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and accepted Jesus Christ. Harriet picked up a literary career as a novelist and an author for two decades and a half. Harriet died in Hartford, Connecticut where she was raised. Many people knew Harriet as an author who touched many lives through books and novels by the hand of God.
