Jim Elliot was born on October 6, 1927. Jim Elliot enrolled himself in Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. Mant people knew Jim Elliot as a "woman hater" in the college. 1 year later, Jim began "courtship" with Elisabeth Howard. After he graduated from Wheaton College, he became interested in a totally unreached tribe in Ecuador, the Aucas. After all the missionary training for 5 years, Jim Elliot set sail for Ecuador with Pete Fleming for 1 year. A few months later, unfortunately the flood destroyed the mission station in Shandia, Ecuador. Jim Elliot married Elisabeth Howard in October 8. In 1956, after 2 days of meeting the Aucas, Jim Elliot and 4 other missionaries were killed by the Aucas because of preaching the gospel to them. Many people in Ecuador knew Jim Elliot as the Ecuador Martyr.
