The Life of Paul White

Paul White was born in Bowral, Australia on February 2, 1910. His childhood was far from easy, with his chronic, at times life-threatening asthma, and the death of his father when Paul was only five years old. His father died of meningitis at the Liverpool Army Camp during the Boer War. But childhood proved a sound foundation to Paul's Christian life and ministry. At the age of 16, Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour. In 1937, Paul White married Beatrice Mary Bellingham. Paul soon became a Jungle Doctor, preaching the gospel through books and fellowships in the jungles of the whole world. 5 years later, Paul White began Jungle Doctor Broadcasts and continued broadcasting for 3 years. From 1945 to 1973, Paul worked as a Rheumatologist. Paul's wife passed away in 1970 when he was working as a Rheumatologist. After all the missionary hardships, a little comic relief is overdue - a nettling boil on a tireless Jungle Doctor; Paul White.
